If you type in www.charitycommision.co.uk as the URL you end up in
http://sedoparking.com/parking.php4?task=search&domain=charitycommission.co.uk
Now I can't get my mind around the links in it to> Charity commission or charitycommission. Since it gives me a problem I can't get round, my gut reaction is "It's a scam "! Maybe one of you experts can take a look and assuage my curiosity one way or another. You would have thought that a link would correctly go to charitycommission.gov.uk but it does not, it goes into a circular argument and advertising. |

No. If there indeed is a registered Charity Comission in the UK they might want to look into it but since the owner of the domain doesn't seem to offer any services I wouldn't call it scam. It's a parked domain. Everyone can register a domain and wait for someone to buy it. No scam involved anywhere.
I was the owner of looksmart.de once, they didn't sue me, they payed for it. Even if that sort of domaingrabbing is morally wrong.  |
