Another wonderful example of a lad screwing up simple maths:
[background: early days for this bait, lad is playing both 'dying widow' and the barrister]
1. THE DEPOSIT CERTIFICATE WILL COST YOU : $ 350
2. THE CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP WILL COST YOU : $ 500
3. WHILE THE AFFIDAVIT OF CLAIM WILL COST YOU : $ 250
TOTAL - $ 1,50
I couldn't let that one slip....
I have received an email from you outlining costs that you expect me to pay. If I may say that receiving such a demand on a second email from you - a complete stranger - is asking just a little much, don't you think?
However, I am a little confused
You list the costs as follows:
You add this little lot up to the grand total of $1,5 and then ask me to send $1,390 through Western Union
That discrepancy in itself is bad enough, but it gets worse:
You see when I went to school 350 + 500 + 250 = 1100
This really is not a good start is it?
If you are having problems with simple maths, I really have to question your ability to handle this transaction to its successful completion.
As I have said, I have ran across several lawyers in the past and am now extremely suspicious of anyone involved in this particular profession and will hold no truck with complacency and childish mistakes.
But at least they had a basic grasp of mathematics.
Whereas you clearly don't.
I would suggest that you consider investing - as a matter of urgency - in a simple desktop calculator when you next need to exercise those few brain cells you so obviously possess.
I await your response
His whiny reply:
Sequeal to your corresponding mail with professional unthical undertone. I regretably state that as much as I accept full responsibility for and with regards to my earlier email does not warrant some sought of deformation of my character. Now, I respect your intellect and I expect the same from you. but if you deem it neccessary rather too compulsory to emphasis on the bases of simple and clear mistake which no doubt, could occur as a result of a person state of mind at a particular point in time or some personal issues really deserve a secound thought and as such oblige your curiosity.
However and I suppose this wouldn't contradict neither would it jeopardize this transaction considering it magnitude, It should in any case pave way for future mutual business relationship.therefore, I advise you clearify me with factors in view to further proceedings with regards to this transactions.
Be informed that the required document has been applied for but the court will require a proof of payment from any of the International recognised vendor which is Western Union Monery Transfer or Money Gram so the earlier the fee is confirmed, the better and faster you shall have your copies for your confirmation and perusal.
Once again, I regret whatever state or inconvinient this" Childish Mistake" must have placed you and verify herein and fourthwith that such will not repeat itself again.
Anticipating your usual prompt response
I have picked up on his mentioning:
occur as a result of a person state of mind
and am now asking him to explain exactly what he means by this..
