Rather than necro an old thread, several of us were working this mugu on the Saddam Scam and he sent us his passport right off the bat. This is a pretty good fake, and we wondered where it came from, even discussing it as an example of why we don't send docs to lads.

Then today, I was reading some of the old baits from the Letters Archive on 419Eater and found this one. Clicky!

So my question is, is it possible that the Saddam Scam lad is the same as the Barrister Akroma lad? Did he recycle the docs sent by the previous bater? Or did he visit the letters archive and find the document?

It could be either, Bob.

This is one of the reasons why giving lads anything that they can use again on somebody else is discouraged, and why we suggest alternatives like .dll, writejunk, photo.jpg.attachment, etc.

Another good example of lad recycling is Wan Quin.

For what it's worth, I saw this passport on another sight before I ever heard about 419Eater.
