And that is why as much as I would love to see the look on their faces when you don't show for meetings, I'd rather do it over a web cam.

I wonder how much he lost that made him consider that a trip to Ghana was the only way of getting it back. as you said above, luckily he only lost the money.

Whether he was joking or not, the real question is do we want to sink to the Lads level. The answer is obviously, no. The fact is that people will still be stupid/greedy/desperate (you can choose the word) enough to send money.
However, the great unanswerable question is: how many people do not send money because the Lad is on safari, going to the Moneygram office, building a pyramid or making works of art, etc? By keeping a few of them busy, who knows how many people do not become victims. This is probably the nobler side of what we do. There is also the fun aspect (trophies, documents, horrible passports, and phone calls). Logar will now stop philosophizing. Thank you.

If he manages to kidnap any lads, he's always welcome to bring them over to my house where I will hit them over the head with a shovel and then bury them in the fields opposite my house.

. Despite what rotten examples of human beings these people are, remember they are still human (somewhere deep inside). I don't have a problem with wasting their time, causing them massive frustration, or any of the other normal baiting activities, but comments such as those make me question the quality of the company I have chosen to ally with.

^^^ Maybe you took offence at the fact that a shovel is normally thought of as a pretty crude implement.

Mind you, as a sometime archaeologist, I do have a passing acquaintance with shovels..... Laughing

As for the victim, I'm just glad that someone had the sense to notify the Gardai he was missing.
