This guy is scum, but I can never get far in baiting him.
He's a fairly prolific poster and surely, some poor souls are falling for it. His posts are similar to:

When I've done it with him, he says the car is crated at a shipping company in Chicago. He says to contact them, send them the $3500 for shipping, and you have the RS4 at your doorstep. The shippers website is a scam site, of course. I once got into their admin section, but then the site went down. Best I can tell from his headers, is he is in Madison, WI (24.158.9.116).

PJ's (ParaJumpers) are a tight knit community, and some bad a$$ mothers. Any way we could pass on the info to them . . . I am sure they would love to have a heart to heart with this scammer.
I am sure they would be gentle as that is what they are known for

I've tried contacting him again, but he hasn't contacted me back. I want to see if his IP is still in WI. Also, would like to know where his "shipping" company website is now. Anyone having any luck? |

Crap.. I should have googled that before I sent him my address.
I got it off Craigslist.com, only it was a woman trying to rid of her husband's 2001 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe. -_-
"she" told me it was in a shipping firm in LA waiting to be sent, and asked for my name and address. I gave them to "her" not knowing of this mass scam, and the email was [email protected].
Anyone know how to get an email out of somebody's inbox?  |

That would probably work too, but best not to piss him off too much as he knows your name and address.
Not saying he's gonna get some mates together and fly over just to beat you, but he might send stolen goods to your address or try to steal your identity.
He's got nothing a phone book wouldn't give him, but still safe is better than sorry. |
