Have been playing with this lad who wants me to invest in his farming business in, well actually I forget where it is. Embarassed

Anyway, I have been rather hard on him, ignoring him and waffling and said I was too busy to help. He is quite persistant

I finally told him that his venture was not the most important thing in my life, but if it would get him off my back I would fly down to see him.

I thought about going online and searching out flights and hotels and what not but then I thought again about it.

So:

He has to be the one to check out flights, hotel rooms, car rentals and that I needed information on his government regulations vis a vis passports and visas.

I also said he should research regulations involved in partnerships and foreign investment in his country.

I demanded web links so I could do the reading up on it, so this should keep him busy for a while.

If your mugu has suggested that you catch a flight to meet him, you could squeeze a safari out of him.

Check his IP, and where he claims to be, and say that you can only catch a direct flight to an airport in the neighbouring country.

I'm with Simba. Possible safari, or at least making the dumb ass wait at the airport for hours is fun too.

Tell him to get you the hotel and send you the confirmation # so you can check it out ahead of time. Tell him you'll do the flight yourself. It's as simple as going to the British Airways site and clicking a few buttons then it gives you an actual flight number, which you can give to the lad and if he checks he will think it's for real. You can even go to the point where you are about to give your CC info and take a screenshot for further evidence if needed. By controlling the flight, you can aid yourself in a safari attempt.

However, couple of problems:

1. Very hard to get them to do it.

2. If they do it, it will probably be with a stolen credit card and that is not good.

If you can ensure he doesn't pay with a stolen CC then I suggest asking him to pay for it. Again, I doubt he will, but that's fine, because you can use it as leverage for a safari.

Tell him you couldn't afford the flight to Xxxxx and you'll need to fly to Xxxxx instead, so he can pick you up there.

Yeah, if they do buy the ticket, almost certainly it would be done with stolen cc. However, you should ask, and if they don't, well, to save some money you had to fly to (insert nearby city in next country here, please), and could they meet you there, please? With any luck, you got a pith helmet (which continues to elude me......)

BTW, I have told one lad that he needs to invest some of his millions on a weasel breeding cfacility, and, through surgical precision with words, got him to agree to mate with weasels... hahahaha!
