Wednesday Night starts the Fall classic as the Red Sox take on The Colorado Rockies. My beloved Phillies, though, are sorely missed.

Anyhow, those of you who are into baseball, who do you think will win the World Series? I am netural this year. Any takers?

I'm a baseball fanatic. I've been keeping this a secret from KD for a while now. . . I'm a yankees fan. So, baseball season is over for me. I won't root for the National League (other than in 1986 Wink

) and certainly won't root for Boston.
As much as I loathe the Red Sox, they do deserve the win this year.

I'm still cheering for the Mariners, but I'm sort of an idiot too. Embarassed

Since the Mariners aren't a choice, I'll back Akai and root for the Sox, but I think I'll lose that bet too. The Rockies look strong right now.

You've gotta keep in mind that the Rockies had a lay off of several days and Beckett will be starting game 1 for the Sox, and he is just freakin magic when he pitches. It should be a good series and I hope it goes for 7 games.

Wow! I had no idea that other Phillies fans existed. Nothing like finally making it to the playoffs, after 14 years or so, then getting swept.

Sorry Sox fans, but I am going to have to assume that the Rockies are going to hold that hot streak they have been on. They have won like 21 out of 22 or something. I believe they will be wiping their arses with Red Sox uniforms very soon.

Wasn't it 80+ years before your guys won anything? Lest those who live in glass houses throw stones. Laughing

I do miss Curt, though! He is a phenomenal pitcher. He was always hurt while on the Phillies. He is my favourite player though.

There's a slim chance that Schilling could finish up his career with Philadelphia. I'm guessing however that the Sox would have to lose and he would not pitch that well, otherwise he'd probably re-up with Boston.

Anyway, I'm another Phillies phan. There's always next year.
