7 feet of altitude just won't quite do it for me. I think about 40 feet and I'd be able to get over anything between me and work. It would make the commute much faster! There is room to lad that thing in the lawn where I work and at home......

OD would your shipping company move it for me?

I give the guy credit though. For the materials he's got to work with, it's a start. Maybe he can mass market it as a Disney ride if the gov't isn't interested. Very Happy

I agree its nice to read GOOD press from nigeria.

Some of those could easily be air ambulances which can be used in remote parts of the entire world.

Well kudos to the guy making them, it goes to show what we have all been saying for a very long time - there is no reason lads should be scamming.

The lazy buzzards should take this guy as an example of what they really can achieve and hang there lazy heads in shame and awe.

That also applies to every other country too, just because we dont all have money does not mean we should try to steal it.

I bet this fellow does not have a license. Having one allows the government something to take away and limits stupid behavior.

I have 40 years of Sportflyer- the experimental plane builder's magazine in my garage. I have dreams of one day building a plane in the garage after I clean out the old magazines.

I've been practicing flying an electric RC helicopter in the family room. I've cut it down to one serious crash every 15 flights.

^^ Those small helis are a bitch. But a good simulator will save hundreds of dollars in spare parts.

Interesting they leave crashed jets lying where the fall. It must be a common event there.

I would like to see some video,
7 foot of the ground is not all that remarkable when the thing is about the same height.
Still if it is true good luck to him, I wish I had the time to tinker like that.

Your dead right there thud. If it can hold a hover at seven feet it is proberly a great piece of machinery.
A helicopter suffers from ground effect ( buffeting, turbulence) close to the ground and is more stable higher in the air.

A helicopter that cant get higher than 7 feet would be a very dangerous unit.

Lack of height can be attributed to most aviation disasters.

Did anyone else notice that he has four seats from an old Toyota saloon car? Aren't those things heavy? I know they LOOK good, but if he would remove them and put in an aluminum lawn chair (UK: aluminium garden chair*) he could probably get up and out of ground effect. And then, the sky is the limit!
