Was an interesting match, I didn't even notice that Andy Farrell was playing until about the 50th minute and suddenly it all seemed to click for him. Not much was said about him by the commentators on ITV but I thought he had a terrific second half (not just his try), he put in some great passes to release other players into space and a couple of very good kicks too. Maybe, just maybe, he is finally finding the form that England have been hoping for.
Lewis Moody must be carved out of granite to stay on the pitch after some of the hits he took.

Looking forward to Wales v Fiji, although I fear I will miss the game.
I have a feeling that things are starting to click for the home nations now, I hope so and I'm sure you Southern Hemisphere guys want a decent challenge.

I am scared for Ireland though... Confused

The Fiji Wales game was really entertaining, too bad Jones missed those place kicks. Well done to Scotland, tonight is D Day for Ireland, we need to score 4 tries and win by 7 points against Argentina, a team yet to concede a try.

I think I've come to grips with it now.... The grieving process has gone through frustration, anger, disbelief, and so on to finally reach the point of acceptance.

I now believe we lost because we put too much emphasis on the World Cup. We were terrified of losing, rather than wanting to win. The best thing we can now do is not think about the next World Cup until at least 2010. Then we'll be sweet. Let's just kill the French next time we play them in revenge!

South Africa v France final probably. Go the Saffies!

It is like a big funeral here. The news last night was hilarious, all the presenters looked so utterly glum.

Dad, who is a Boks fan, looked sickeningly smug, till they almost got their arses kicked!

Kind of disappointed in Scotland. Still, if you can't get the basics right (like not dropping the ball!) you can't expect to win.

Realistically I can't see Argentina beating South Africa. South Africa have a team that is just too good all round. I really don't think they've played to their potential so far in this tournament (I don't think they were even that impressive in beating England during pool play).

I also can't see England beating France, unless the French have nothing in the tank after their performance vs NZ. In a similar sense to how Argentina is just too limited in their options, I think the same goes for England. I didn't pick Australia to lose, but then again when the Aussies come up against a good forward pack anything can happen, and finally did last weekend. However, the French forwards are MUCH better than the Australian ones, so I think France SHOULD win that match.

However, I predicted easy wins for both Australia and NZ last weekend, so you never know!
