It has been quiet on the eater server for the last two hours!

I'm going to try a move again and see what happens!

After two move attempts today - I found that the moment I brought back the eater domain - the system was bitch slapped big time!

I have decided to leave us here a little longer.

Are you sure all of this is not just a really late April Fools Day joke by the admins? I mean, come on, who ever heard of a virtual attack? I think we are being baited!

Could you imagine what would happen if some nefarious mind got into their head to launch an attack of this magnitude against, oh, say... CNN or the US Gov't?

Some Good news!

I have just finished ordering a new home for eater!

The ISP hosting is double what we currently pay Shocked

However they are an ISP that specializes in hosting "High Profile" customers I.E: The type that get attacked! (Yup that sounds like us) ..... anyway - they basically specialize in DDOS attack mitigation!

We will be moving into our new digs within the next two weeks! - so there is light at the end of the tunnel here ninjas!

Now I just need to find $500.00 to pay for the order Laughing

It means you have a baiter who will send the new URL to you via email when the site moves and you forward the email to baiters you know so we can regroup.

But the Admins having a cunning plan

Rover has been encouraged to stick to his task

But is being very professional towards the mob

and once a few odd jobs have been finished at the new location

we can round everybody up

I just got off the phone with our "New" isp!

They are a little nervous about taking us on!

Off course as most of you know - a massive attack will bring down most servers. In order to mitigate such a huge attack it would cost us way too much money. In the order of $2500.00 - $3000.00 per month. When one ISP told me that I could not stop laughing at him! Hence we have had to decide on a more reasonable priced ISP that offers similar services.

I am awaiting another call today from the ISP - I believe they will take us I just need to negotiate the best server for our needs etc. Hang in there for further updates as to what is going on.

On another note - just a quick THANK YOU - to all of you that have contributed to the new isp fund! - we now have enough money to pay for the installation and setup fee of our server.
