@Peanut, many bank branches 'over there' also have a WU franchise.
This particular one has an established reputation for being a nice place to send lads Twisted Evil

Right, but in some countries, the WU outlets are found in banks. A real pain, as you can only pick up your money during banking hours.

I think the Prudential should receive a golden shield from all at Eater! Not sure how many lads they have busted now, or if the police have a desk there yet. Smile

The paperwork is the key, the lad turns up with ready made evidence for the police. Now and again i search for my Pru lad in the press, for all I know he's still banged up. You can get 5 years in Ghana for stealing a sack of yams, the police have no sense of humour.

So, I managed to dig up the original transfer slip. It is pretty pathetic considering how effective it was. I purposely targeted Accra lads by creating a filter in my catcher gmail account using key words like Accra, Ghana, etc, as well as "233" the first three digits of a Ghanian number. This was very effective in sorting out lads that were close to the bank.

I'm in the process of sending my lad to the bank in the UK for a WU pickup but didn't supply any faked WU form. Just told them to go in and ask for the WU draft. Will this be enough to get them arrested since they will have to present fake ID or do I have to come up with some WU form that only works at banks? And more importantly, is it imperative to tip off the bank that the scammer is coming and how best to do that?

This will not be enough to get someone arrested. Nor will supplying him with a fake form work. The odds of getting a lad arrested in this manner are about the same as an elephant flying sideways out of me arse. Big Worm had a good run of luck with this. This well-doctored slip, right timing and the alignment of the stars are what it took. Since this time, we have sent dozens of lads to this WU office. Not another arrest has been made.

I don't mean to be discouraging. On the contrary. I encourage you to send him to WU. But they will most likely not get arrested. Maybe slightly embarassed, enraged, etc.- but not arrested. Still great to do. I still long to get a lad arrested for such stupidity.

Not sure if it matters JoJo but to clairify, I'm sending the Mugu to a major bank in the UK to try and commit fraud, not a WU office.
