@freya - that would be great 
BTW: After even more testing - I can assure you we are STILL under attack! - although it has subsided the sync attack is still hot 'n heavy!
I will do some more testing tonight and over the week-end |

What you saw yesterday on two occasions is a test! - please read my earlier messages. "Do not believe anything you see..."
I am busy with a couple of tests to see if I can bring back our domain name. Sadly the answer is no! not yet. We are still under attack.
The attack is originating mainly from machines in Japan, Korea and India. The attack is a sync flood attack on all ports.
A typical mitigation technique is to firewall the sync, this however does not work in this case as it is an extremely large attack. I have quite a few bot's IP addresses available. I am checking what they are vulnerable too (I.E what it is that they are affected with.) Once I have that information I will have a better understanding as to what "botnet" is attacking us. Until then I do not wish to speculate on who / what or why just yet. |
