Ok first this isnt going to be easy, in fact its one hell of a challenge lol.

Most cities have webcams, And as pointed out they can be long distance views, so if you get your lad to one, proving its your lad isnt going to be easy, but remember were baiters lol, surely the challenge of making lads do unique things is something were famous worldwide for?

So heres the idea, a Lad rally.

Working with mentors of course, for independant proof *no cheating lol
Ya get your lad to cam 1, then use all the skills you have to get em round a circuit of webcams lol.

Now we have some very very brilliant minds on our lovely forum, im sure and confident, that some of us can do it, i dont know if i can but hell its for a laugh.

Its not a race with 200 lads infront of 1 cam its when the lad hits the first cam and the time it takes for him to complete the entire circuit that is pre-set so everyone of the lads follows the same course Wink

The ruiles would be something like:

When the lad proves its him in front of cam 1 the clock starts ticking.
You can only use skills you would use as a baiter, so calls will probably be essential.
The clock only stops when the lad stands in front of the last cam on the list chosen at random by everyone.
The fastest time around the circuit wins.
For entry into more than 1 country you would need lads in more than 1 country unless you set up safari of a lifetime lol.

Sounds a bit like that movie where the guy has to get to the payphone and then gets instructions to get to the next one and so on (Ransom with Mel 'Crazy' Gibson?).

Very ambitious... who will coordinate it?

Die Hard with a Vengeance was like that for a while. Sounds a little over-ambitious unfortunately, it's challenging enough getting one person on a safari to anywhere.

Yup it would certainly be difficult.

It wouldnt be co-ordinated as such, its only timed by the mentor when the lad arrives at cam 1, lads could take 3 or 4 days to appear at every cam on the list, and some will get lads one day others would get them a week later etc, its not the day were timing tho its the total time from cam 1 to cam X with the best time declared the winner lol.

Any yep i guess it would be a little like phonebooth but were not telling the lads were gonna execute em lol.

My thinking is if the cams in london were used you could bluff the lad and say stuff like "my cabs stuck in traffic, ill try to get to X road" and keep doing that etc, then tell them its too busy we cant see you, and damn been told by the driver we got ot go now, meet me at X.

If we mark 1st January as rally start date, till dec 31st.
Then everyone who tries it has a whole year to get a lad round the circuit, if no one completes it the winner will be the one who gets them from Cam 1 to the cam X in the shortest time, where cam X would be whichever cam people manage to get upto.

This would be FAR from easy, but with everything else going on at the moment we need something else to think about Wink

. It can be done, its not an impossible task, if we can get lads to tattoo themselves getting them round a rally is similar in nature lol.

Phew, thats a task and a half mate. I've only got one lad with UK contacts at the moment so I guess I'll have to find some more Twisted Evil

As we've got a whole year for it though, it sounds like fun. Would make a great calendar for 2009 as well.

I would suggest multi baiting as a possible way to accomplish it.

AS said it hard enough to get them to meet anyone anywhere let alone the same person time and time again.

Yup its a tough one lol.

But as rod said it might make a funny 2009 calendar.

The first cam will probably be as far as most of us get, bet its stargate or shiver who get em round the course first.

You're spot on Harrya, since this spring it has been one of my ambitions to get a lad onto a London webcam, or even to assist another member getting his lad onto a cam. Several tries later, I'm still waiting.

I've been nearly there a few times, I've had phone contact with lads who claim they are almost there, but at the last moment it's common for them to change location on you. I think I've had eyeball once, but I'm not sure.

Lads are a bit wily like that, they don't like others to call the shots at meetings. They will switch the meeting to somewhere they've been before, where they've had a chance to scout it out (to look for webcams!) and also to get some good vantage points for their mates on lookout duties. Lads won't meet alone, generally speaking.

It's a good idea in theory, and very funny. But do-able? I'm not sure.

On youtube, shiver gets a scammer to go to glasgow - i forget the link but im sure shiver has it on here somewhere, he gets him video'd.
Smax shivers hands for breaking his own safety rule there but lol.

Theres camera's you can hook into that are not on camvista Wink

Traffic cams, have a 2 minute delay but are live look on the BBC website for em. If there in london on any main street you have a good chance of getting em round the circuit.
