I think that Obi-Wan is trying to make it interesting.

When it comes to speed of smell that's something I've always wondered about too. Seems to travel pretty slowly I think, as smell is basically something chemical actually in the air, so it would only travel as quickly as air molecules???

I've wondered about the speed of heat too. Like if the sun disappeared would we notice the darkness or the coldness first?
