Is this a Cote d'Ivoire to Ghana Safari?

I have been on a straight-bait for a while and arranged a meeting in Ghana with a Cote d'Ivoire resident. Headers indicate a safari, but could the lad/lass just have had an associate in Ghana send the email? This is especially likely because the Ghana number she gives is for her "pastor".

I would appreciate a Mod or experienced baiter's take on this - do I get a pith helmet??

Well I'm still checking through my phone records to see if Grace phoned from 2 different landline numbers. She certainly called from different numbers, but where they are based I'm not sure. I also recieved a call from some guy calling on Grace's behalf.

It's hard as I've recieved many calls since then, but I'll try and check, I'll get back to you.

So, some good news, some bad news.

The good news is that Grace herself called me from a landline in Ghana.

The next calls I recieved resolve to Cote D'Ivoire. The bad news is that I think the callers from there (the Pastor AND Grace) are using a mobile number based there.

So in other words, she could have gone there, she may not have. (I.e. it's a remote possibility that she has an accomplice in Ghana with an Ivory Coast registered mobile).
On the flipside of the coin, Grace herself called again from the same Ghana landline some days later (when I couldn't get hold of you).

My gut feeling is that you probably got a Safari.

I'm certainly no moderator so I can't say whether you get a pith helmet or not (Any experienced baiters / Moderators have a view on this please do step in) but my gut feeling is that she travelled.

Thank you so much for Hekate (mentor) and Mugatu (who took phone calls on my behalf). I am very much an inexperienced part-time baiter, so all of their help is much appreciated.

If we use Occam's razor, then the simplest explanation suggests a real Safari. Woo hoo!

Next time I'll see if I can get more substantial evidence (web cam?).

And the good news is that "Grace" is still on the hook.
