This guy is just begging to travel!
Quote: |
IN ALL I AM SUGGESTING THAT YOU HAVE TO COME HERE WITH SOME AMOUNT OF ABOUT $20,000.00 TO COVER ALL THESE EXPENSES. YOU MUST KNOW THAT I HAVE TO BE WITH YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR STAY IN THE COUNTRY AND YOU MUST ENGAGE THE SERVICE OF AN ATTORNEY TO HELP YOU NOTARISE SOME OF THE DOCUMENTS. |
IMO, $20k wasn't enough to spend on my vacation to Cotonou, Benin. I decided that I should try and sweeten the deal:
Quote: |
I will have to apply for a loan to get the $20,000, but luckily I have good credit. I will probably need some extra money to pay for my stay, my food, and perhaps do some sightseeing. Are there a lot of nice places to visit there? What does your country have in the way of souvenirs and goods? I would like to bring some gifts back for my friends and my co-workers. I also need to know how much these souvenirs and things will cost before I take out the loan. If you could scan me some catalog pages, flyers, or advertisments with these items, I would greatly appreciate it. |

Super! Sounds like he really wants to meet you.
Make sure the plane has a few problems, of course, after he arrives to meet you...
Good luck! |

Whether or not I actually arrive in his city is really up in the air. I may arrive just outside of the city. |

Kandi, Parakou and Cotonou all have airports. If the lad is in Cotonou, tell him he needs to go to Kandi (far north of the country) to meet you. That'll put him on the road for a while..... or tell him to meet you in Burkina Faso... Safari time! |

Are you sure that you can get a direct flight to Cotonou..?
Not many airways fly there, if you are travelling from the UK, then Lagos or Abuja would be far more convienient for you... |

^^^ Electrical goods such as cell phones, laptops, and portable dvd players always go down a treat with a corrupt African official.
Some nice Swiss watches are also very welcome. Also, leather shoes are a real status symbol. |
