I kid you not, but I had a 12th grade art teacher named - Ophelia Bush. She was never married, so that was her name from birth. What the hell were her parents thinking....and yes, she was a lesbian. Go figure! BTW, she was a good looking woman.
But he really shouldn't have told you he hates to be called DICK. That'll just make it funnier when you address him that way in EVERY email!! |

Explain to DICK that where you live, Richard is a formal name, and the informal, amongst friends name is DICK. Tell him that for you to continue with him, you MUST consider him a friend, and all of your friends named Richard are called DICK. Threaten to walk away... bet he decided being called DICK isn't to bad, after all.... |
