Does anyone know if/when there will be a release date for this documentary in Europe? As a sad retro-games geek I'm looking forward to seeing this. IMDB has little info about various release dates.

I'd like to see this too (retro geek as well). From what I can gather they haven't got a European distributor for the film so it's more likely you'll be able to get it soon on R1 DVD import.

I would love to own a Tron arcade machine. That would be greatness.

Thanks for the posts about this movie. I had not heard anything about it until now and now I want to see it. I remember so many times playing Pac-man, DK, Tron, and Galaga growing up. I have Galaga and Pac-man on one of those little av plug in things for my tv now, but I can't find Tron.

Hell, I was already growed up by then & still hemorrhaged a lad's ransom of quarters at the arcades.

I'd flip for an arcade-style baiting-themed game, perhaps with a chewy safari center. Anyone here up to the task?

I'll post this question in this thread as it is kind of relevant:

A couple of years ago I stumbled on a company online who produced new arcade machines, but featuring retro arcade games, such as Defender, Donkey Kong, Pacman, Space Invaders etc. These were NOT Jamma machines, nor were they MAME cabinets, but rather full size "new" retro arcade game machines. I recall the company was a UK based one, though there's probably similar companies in the US etc.

Does anyone have info on companies making "new" old arcade machines? Again, I'm not interested in cabinets containing a PC running MAME Smile
