I put me as offline, so I clicked on the icon and put it to 'online'. I am able to chat with HellRyder in sidebar and I can see him online in the chat, but he can't see the chat. So is not working properly. Some people can see the contact list, but are still connecting. What worked really well is to enter chat, shout at skype and it will prioritise your request. I promise Razz

I'm connected but I'm having problems adding people (tried adding Persephone just now but it says your username doesn't exist Confused)

EDIT: I attempted calling Persephone just now but it says "You cannot start a call when offline." so like most folks here I can see my contacts but I can't talk. I'll take the advice you gave, Persi Very Happy

when I first started reading this page the Skype Light was green ....by the time I got to the bottom it went back to connecting.
