I think I'd rather take starvation over pot noodles. Or possibly raid the bin outside my local chippy.

Chicken and Mushroom, definitely.

Also, back in the 80s, there was Pot Casserole (various flavours). I absolutely adored those, but can't find them these days.

I remember Pot Casseroles. Yummy.

I've never tried the Southern Fried Chicken one, will have to look out for it.

Either The 'Posh Noodle' - Chinese Chicken or the Bombay Bad Boy (accompanied by a fair amount of water!).

Did I just admit to that?

Just a tip - If, like with me, 2 sachets of sauce are included with the Bombay Bad Boy - just add the one - I made a big mistake!

Yeah, I've done that and also added loads of Habenero Tobasco. BAD mistake. No matter how drunk you are, that will seriously affect you!

I always put hot pepper sauce in them. Even the cheap generic ones are pretty good if you put enough tabasco in them. Then again I love hot pepper sauce on my toast in the morning.

I acctually quite like the Bachelor's Super Noodles Chicken Chow Mein - I actually happen to be tucking into such an instant noodle snack as we speak - no really!

Warning... silly yank question.

What are Pot Noodles? From the context I assume they are something like Ramen Noodles that are found in the states, the staple food of all starving artists and college students Stateside.

edit: Google was my friend... Pot noodles sure have a much more varied flavor selection that the Ramen that I ate while in school. I will give the nod to the Redcoats on this one.

^^^ Yep, same sort of thing - Noodles in a pot... Just add hot water to some powdery muck, and in the ping of a microwave, it's done. Now just add a generic sachet of Soy sauce, and it's ready to eat.

Doesn't the US import Cup Noodle?

The inventor of Cup Noodle died just a few months ago, I remember seeing the reports claiming that he still ate his company's products and he lived an amazingly long and healthy life, despite that!

I think that guy was the inventor of those type of noodles in general because it was news here in the states as well.

Same stuff, different package. But we don't have as many fancy flavors.

Pot Noodle = Cup O Noodles, but with more flavour choices. Ramen is similar, but comes as a brick of dry noodles with a "flavor packet" and requires a container to make it in. The nice thing about that is you can shitcan the sodium loaded soup base packet and use the noodles to make actual food Laughing

Have you ever just sprinkled on the "flavor" and eaten the "brick" raw (like a cookie)? It's not as disgusting as it sounds!
