I have the entire day to myself. I have not had this for months and I'm so excited. My car is in the shop and no one will think that I am home. I will not answer door or phone and I might dance, sing, and eat chocolate. jump_4_joy

I'm cooking today and thought I would share: (6:00PM my time) Laughing

Baked Chicken, mashed potatoes, navy beans, homemade loaf of honey oat bread and harvest bounty casserole. Cool

Harvest Bounty Casserole

1 1/2 cups green beans, cooked and drained
3 tomatoes chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 small onion chopped
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup biscuit mix (I use bisquick)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup milk
3 eggs

Spray a baking dish (I use a lasagna dish) with pan. Layer green beans first, then peppers, tomatoes, onions and cheese on top.
Beat the remaining ingredients with hand beater until smooth. Pour over vegetables and cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-50 mins. or until brown on top.

Oh, I forgot to tell ya'll that I am making Lovey his favorite butterscotch pie. I'll just have chocolate. Very Happy

I couldn't be bothered to register so I am going to have fun guessing which B word Sam meant. Bath? Brew? Butterscotch? Bubbles. Blowing? Blowing is illegal in NY? Sam, how many guesses can I have? Smile

Oh, and my feel-good for today was finishing the main parts of a report today before ridiculous-o'clock, and knowing that it rocks. A bit of topping and tailing tomorrow and it's good to go. Very Happy

driving down the south tyrol "weinstrasse" (vinestreet) in italy while listening to my favorite piece of music from Beethoven on CD. Did so on tuesday. Really enjoyed driving inbetween vineyards with a wonderful view down to the Kalterersee Smile
