Not to pick a nit, but unless I'm mistaken, the standard text size for sigs is noticeably smaller than that in posts. |

It's just my opinion, remember. I'm still a n00b so my opinion barely counts, for now. Oh well...
EDIT: I didn't see your post Gnasher. I just would prefer if signature pictures were allowed. Personally I wouldn't use anything taller than 120 px if that. |

Yes, but why? What do they add to the overall appearance and tone of a (mostly) serious forum about scambaiting? Like I say, if you want assert your identity then your avatar is a much better way of doing it. I took a look at the forum you suggested and assuming your ID there is somewhat similar to your ID here then the pic in the signature is totally meaningless (to me at least).
And we are not being mean to you because you are a noob - you asked for opinions and got them. Is all 
Edit: I just noticed that you joined here a month before I did and I certainly don't consider myself to be a noob, although some may disagree. |

Gnasher is right. Why do people always get out the newb card when other people simply have a different opinion? What does people having a different opinion have to do with you being a newb? You gave your opinion and others gave theirs, no need to agree.
This is behaviour I don't appreciate with certain feminists and certain members of ethnic minorities: drag a completely unrelated quality into the discussion to show you're being victimized a priori. Don't do it. |

Newsflash, Rentacow. People won't always agree with your opinions. I don't believe we should have images in signatures for exactly the reasons people have mentioned above.
