OK, SP, I read it, but why would a lad pay for shipping, it been paid for, all you have to do is go pick it up, maybe I'm, looking at it the wrong way.

Lad trying to hook a victim in with a 100% Risky Free transaction. Of course there will be fees of some kind, possibly even a VAT that needs to be paid. Sounds like you could get some mileage out of this one. Wink

It's an attempt at a guilt trip. Lads often pretend to have paid for something to try and make the victims feel sorry for them and feel they have to co-operate now as the scammer is allegedly out of pocket because of them.

It is common in NOK scams for example for the lad to claim he has already forked out a considerable amount of money for documentation such as death certs. (etc).
