i used to get alot of scammers from africa asking for money

but not anymore

any ideas why im not getting hits like i used to ???

No idea. Are you maybe being more careful these days as to where you post your email address?

When we bait on purpose we use a fake addy called a "catcher" account. We leave those addresses in wild and wacky places like guestbooks, shuttles and so forth.

When your name has been on a guestbook for a good while, the million pound job offers eventually dry up after 3 months or so. Wink

Mugus get their addresses from thousands of sources, including guestbooks, address registers and whatnot. Noone here can possibly tell you why you don't get 419 mails anymore but I sure as hell wouldn't complain about receiving less spam. If you need mugu letters we have a whole forum dedicated to that.

As Mugau states, it does dry up if your addy has been in a guestbook for a while. Try seeding some new ones, or grab a few lads from the surplus forum.

Maybe Don should stop trying to drive off in scalectrix cars and cough up the money for a real car.

They seem to come in bunches. You get a lot of emails for a while and they drop off then you get another bunch. I think they lads are selling the lists around. When a new lad gets the list the emails start up once again. If you don't reply from that address (and you never should. Remember to bait sefely) they will figure it's either a dead addy or nobody there is falling for their scams. Once they've worked the list for a while they sell it off to another lad.

I get almost all my letters from my personal email address then copy them into my baiting account. The lads never notice this. They send out thousands of emails so can't keep track of the addys they have sent them to.
