This is a waterhole located in Kruger National Park (actually, right next to Kruger), in northeastern South Africa. The webcam seems to function pretty reliably (i.e. it is on most of the time).
If you could convince your mugu that a trunk box was submerged in shallow water, it could make an interesting safari with a live finale. I wonder if there are leaches?
The downside of this webcam is it is only 250 yards from a tourist lodge (i.e. it is not remote). Thus, getting there would not involve long hikes and great hardship - - on the other hand, it might be easier to convince a mugu to make this journey, as opposed to a more difficult trek. If anyone knows of a reliable waterhole web cam, that is more remote, please advise.
