I'm currently being persuaded to attend some conference or other in Canada by a scammer (scam being that there'll be fees to get the right paperwork to enter Canada; I've already been pointed towards the Canadian Immigration Control department---complete with their yahoo.ca address, of course).

Anyway, the conference was meant to be held from the 10th to the 17th of August, with the registration deadline being the 30th of July (yesterday). So I sent an apology this morning, explaining that my computer wasn't working so I couldn't submit the registration form and can I have an extension of the deadline by perhaps a few days?

The conference itself has been put back by a whole month! I feel powerful now, like a god.

Tell him that those dates don't work with your schedule and see if the conference gets miraculously moved again. Rolling Eyes
