After his second visit to the same bank to try and get all the money I sent him...

If he gets the bums rush out of the bank again, tell him that its probably because the document he is presenting is an email.
And then send him a letter in a Word doc that he can print and take to the manager of the bank.
I'm sure that you can knock up a nice letterhead and some well worded bank officialness that will be convincing to the lad but not quite so much to the bank manager. |

Agreed. He needs covering letter, a seperate statement to the bank, and some 3rd page that he has to sign and have witnessed, and that the bank needs to sign as well. May as well throw in some generic terms and conditions too. Oh, and lots of color.
Hopefully he's printing them at the cafe and gets charged by the page and for color as well. He need's two copies of each, one for him and one for the bank.
