I am an American who does not travel overseas much. So. once, in france, on my honeymoon, I developed a.. well a "condition" that honeymooning women might get. I told the pharmacist in my broken french:

"J'ai une mal de la vagine... a cote de .. quel et le mot de le petit animale c'est dan le pain, et il fait le pain VROOOM!" (Making an inflating sound).

My poor translation: "I have a bad vagina of the kind that.. what is the name of the little animal in the bread that makes the bread go Whoosh and poof up like this?" The pharmacist was horrified. Then he started laughing so hard that tears came down his face. The entire pharmacy could not stop. They all kept saying "Je suis desolee!" and "Candide!" but i got the medication so THERE. But I felt like the lady in that picture. Hence my long story in response.
