We are always worried about educating lads to baiting techniques it seems they do not have such concerns when it comes to exposing other scams to us.

This is my second lotto bait, I have always avoided them in the past due to the rep of lotto lads as hard to bait. I started bainting two next of kin scammers at the same time and they dropped off the map weeks ago but the lotto lad just keeps on coming. I have not being doing anything fancy just standard stalling practices.

-Asked to explain Western Union
-Sent 8 digit MTCN... oops used MG instead of WU
-Fruitless trip to MG, the money wasn't there Shocked

-Dolla' chopped by Mr. Be110 after he instructed me to send him payment via WU
-Brought a second character in as first character could no longer pay fees
-Second character played in part by our own VP sent incomplete 9 digit MTCN
-Redirected to WU Disservice line
-Lad went back to first character as not prepared to work with 2nd character again
- Made it clear I couldn't pay till the end of the month he would have to go back to 2nd character
-Lad refused and threatend I would lose my winnings if I didn't pay immediately
-Sweated it out for a couple of days but he came crawling back and got back in contact with 2nd character
-2nd Character had dolla' chopped by Shuntbuzz's Mr. Be110
-Created an Email from Mr Be110 saying he sent a cheque with the prize money plus �25,000 which was the result of a printing error and to cash the check and send the $25,000 back by WU.

So now the lad has completely forgot about the money I'm supposed to send him and more concerned about cheque scams so I don't go to jail before he has had a chance to scam me Smile

Out of interest I'm trying to get him interested in trying to claim responsibility for this check and collect the $25,000 for himself but for some strange reason he doesn't seem interested, he wants to get me back on track so I can send him a measly $850 Confused

Yeah lotto lads are quite fun. They're everywhere so there's not much point taking on too many as I've found I just get them all confused with each other and eventually my mind feels like it's going to explode.

I've found the trick is to play along with them, as a straight bait, for quite some time before you start twisting things. My favourite lotto lad has given up on me sending him any money, and is trying to get me to choose a suitable laptop to courier to him in Nigeria instead.

He wants you to send him the Bello-scam details--NOT of course to help you, but obviously to find out what the other guyman is up to. And how they can both steal from you, tho' no honor among thieves.
