Nice Buells, Jose. I blagged one from the HD dealer last time my Sportster was serviced (last time by them, I do my own services now). I wasnt keen on riding it in the rain though, I think it felt a bit too flighty for me.
Is that an A10 Angus? The bolt on alternator is a good idea for the lights, though I like the BSA's minimalist simplicity as it comes, the wiring diagram has about 3 wires as standard.
I'm getting Hogsick, its been a month now waiting for parts since the numpty woman backed over it, but they do seem to be replacing everything in sight, including my eBay second hand saddlebags (Harley new price, �900 to you, Sir). In the meantime I have Carol, the world's ugliest hirebike (Suzuki 650 V-twin). I went green laning on her yesterday, started to worry when the gravel lane turned to rocks, it definitely goes places the Harley wouldn't. Especially because it's not mine. |

I used to ride a wee Yamaha, not so much a bike as a souped up sewing machine. Came off twice.
We were thinking about upgrading when it was nicked and stripped. Got a car instead what with weans on the way etc etc.
Our neighbour has just had his pride and joy stolen.
It was in a drive way, chained gates, chained to anchor block, imobillisers etc etc
1st he knew was the police arriving late at night to have a word about the way it was being driven round a housing scheme
My daughter has developed a passion for bikes, studying to be a mechanic and works one day a week for free in a Honda dealership.
I was worried about her in that environment, the bad manners , swearing and all but she promised to tone it down so's not to embarass them |
