Mine all come from the Discworld series of books by Terry Pratchett. I am rather fond of my current one though and may keep it. the guild of seamstresses has nothing to do with repairing clothing, and I will leave it at that. Ankh-Morpork is one of, if not the, biggest cities on Discworld.

My first experience with 'fast food' was in 1962 when a Burger Chef opened up a few miles from my house. It was the first of its kind in my city. I have fond memories of hanging out there, first a bike-riding kid and later as a very cool teenage driver. And yes, a burger did cost 15c. Alas, the Burger Chef chain is long-since defunct.

I don't eat fast food anymore, aside from an occasional indulgence at In-N-Out. But for reasons even I can't explain I created a cast of characters based on McDonald's when I did my very first bait, so I've stuck with the character names (Juan Freizwidatt, Sue Percise, Mack Nughette, etc.).

When I first signed up here I did a quick seach for an image of a drunken vagrant to adequately reflect my personality. This one turned up right away, and I haven't seen any need to change it (or my trousers) since then.
