Nigerian Scumbag hijacked BOTH my e-bay account and email. Got the e-bay account sorted - after he had won 70 items using my 100% feedback.

made a list of them Wink

So I set up another email account and sent the scumbag an email to my old account saying

Hi

I have your winning ebay items please confirm delivery address

regards

silly person replied

dear mate,

thanks for getting back to me soon.here is teh shipping address i have provided paypal with and ebay where i want the item shipped to.

Interesting. How did he do that? I'm asking because I've never heard of a 419 scammer hijacking an email, let alone an ebay account.

beats me - I never reply to phising e-mails, systems fully protected by anti virus, spybot, adware, windows defender - the kids don't know my password...etc

How the hell he hijacked the ebay account I don't know. I caught it within 24 hours and ebay steped in nicely.

But fool me once he got one he got the other - I used a separate gmail account for ebay stuff only - but with the same user name and password as for ebay.

He won't get anything from the email account, nothing. But his reply shows he is waiting.

Now just want to have fun baiting the person into thinking all his computer bits and xboxes are on their way.

Except that it was connected to your ebay account, which is presumably registered under your real name, address, phone number, financial information, etc. In short, all the things you don't ever want a scammer to have about you.

Hi Alfred. Welcome to eater.

Actually you present us with a golden opportunity. Firstly you're a photographer. Secondly you're in one of the many hotspots for scamming activity.

I am very curious how you found this one post in the mountain of threads we have here.

It is sad that these scammers have targeted your business and good name. I think all of us would be very impressed if you could offer us some of your pictures of your business and what you look like. I think a lot of us would be interested in what backgrounds you use for taking pictures.

Personally I want to know how many photos you've taken over the years with people acting and/or dressing strangely in your shop. You do realise we've probably been sending you business for quite awhile.

How about it Alfred. Share with us your experiences, and a few pictures of your local area.

Alfred, didn't you read my first response? That's not something I've encountered before. Is it possible we could see your website or a listing in the local Nigerian directory?

I think we'd all be very interested in expanding our knowledge and love of the better things your country produces.

I'm also interested in your operations. What's your preferred camera for your photography? You use digital or film? I've got a Canon EOS 400D with 90-300mm lens and wide-angle. Do you find the focal range lacking in these models, especially in low light or full sun?

I was able to found out about this just yesterday when a friend called my attention to Google search of alpha photos apata. Because I would love to have a secondary job earning millions whilst I take a few photos for $30 per hour as listed on your freelance photography page!

I dont lie or never lied with any information that we have provided. Consider one fact I have been consistent with all my my inflammations and my real name been used all along. The Commodity trading which I said is secondary come once in a while and that has made me to travel to meet client like 4 occasion we have been able to close just 2 deals one in copper cathode and the other in D2 so I am not here to defend what we make or not to to clear our company name. search the web very well we have our reputation both in Photography and commodity trading which we just started in 2005 and photography since 1985.If you need more information call me

I understand your concern and from the angle you are viewing the annual income on alibaba. Mind you the profile has been open for a long time and at that time picked the least of all the category of incomes. What is the problem of making $30 from what I love doing what I was born into that price was for a certain biding and you don't expect to have 100% accuracy of my true value on the net.
Please tell me what you are insinuating, That I am a Photographer which I was born into or that I have certain other venture which I am making money from? Tell me where you are going. That I lied with a purpose. have you not meet certain obstacle on the web registration whereby certain information that match you is not included on the registration page?
