The following editorial comment appeared in the July 2007 issue of Roundel, the magazine of the BMW Car Club of America, in response to a pretty-much-standard check scam letter submitted by a reader:

"Phony 'certified' checks are only one way scammers try to separate you from your money. Now there are even 'scam baiters' , people who turn the tables on the scammers and con them into various - well, you might want to check out www.419eater.com and similar sites. But make sure you have lots of time before you go online; it's fascinating stuff."

Get it out in the open, perfect, makes the game more interesting if the scammer has to expect you're not real, will cost him lots of time, I like that Twisted Evil

Now what if if they go into the contra-contra thing and come up with easy lads that can be baited for ever Question

The baiting recruitment drive is in full swing. As has been mentioned before, the more baiters the better... I'm sure one day we'll outnumber the victims at least.
