I said I stick up some piccies from Istanbul, only taken on my phone cam I'm afraid as the proper ones are at the cheapest (i.e. longest) photoprocessors. I must admit that on the last night there, sitting at a pavement cafe, smoking a hookah pipe and drinking apple tea, I seriously did not want to leave as it was such a fantastic place.

You'd better not be  . While it is cool to go overseas to a place near you (went to Australia three times before going anywhere else overseas), the further away from home you are generally the more different things get from what you're used to, and therefore the greater the experience.
I'd quite like to check out Istanbul one day. Preferably not when it gets hit by the giant earthquake that's supposed to happen there some time in the near future. |
