Well, one reason...
A word (or pic Very Happy

) of warning to those of you who want to sign guest books to get lads. I signed 3 guest books a year ago...

This is 12 days worth, and 98% are viagra, illegal software or phishing

Yeah - you sign regular guestbooks - - not guestbooks for Viagara websites

Same goes for penis enlargers....

Small change. I've currently got 1023 unread messages in my old catcher account. One day I really should get round to reading them. Very Happy

Oddly enough, the spam filter's quite good - 567 spam (viagra, cheap meds, cheap software etc), remainder are scam mails of one type or another. For some reason I've been getting mostly French/German of late. Question

@ iMike One of my persona accounts keeps filling with spam with (looks like) Chinese characters. I figured it was mail bombing or from a Lotto scam he tried to enter. Shocked

^^^I've had that in there too. And the blank emails. It's not an account I've used for a while. I get enough lads emailing my character accounts - after one persona promised M0535 Uz3m3 a cash grant, I got bombarded with mails from various 'Africa aid' type charities. I usually just pick a fresh one when I've drained whatever lad I'm currently pestering. Very Happy

filter the following words to automatically delete and your box should be kept relatively tidy.
orgies, prescription, casino, med$, Viazzgra, s0ftware, Weight Loss, vragra, watches, pills, v!agr@, peniss, Virragra, Viag_gra, viaigra, sexual, viagra, \/iagra, meds, Vl_lAGRA, software, porn, Lowest price, penis, orgy, Action: Strong Buy/Hold!!, pill, vfagra, sex, repl1cas, m0ney and w4tches.

also anything that has an attachment.

2943 spam emails in one box. I figure not bad for two years. I look a little closer and find that was for 30 days. Almost 100 a day. Its worth it and I have not even paid any attention to the penis enlargers.

Edit: 3540 in another box. Thirty days worth.

You are absolutely right! I did not know Ben was a girl. Well, sorry for the mistake. If it makes you feel better, Persephone was convinced I was a girl for a while. I think she still wonders sometimes.

For chuckles I just looked in my catcher account -- 247 spam emails in 14 days. That's nothing, though. My business email account generates over 600 EVERY SINGLE DAY! The problem, of course, is that the address is posted on the web and is in a gazillion links, so every bot in the world has harvested it. I have a good filter and not much garbage gets through to my main box, but unfortunately some real mail inevitably gets flagged by mistake. I've have to give up trying to sort through 598 Viagra and counterfeit Rolex scams looking for the 2 real emails. It's just too time-consuming, and mind-numbing.

My main baiting account has never been posted in a guestbook, I have another account for that. I dont use it for anything other than baiting. I just checked, I emptied the spambox last night, there are now 254 fresh emails in it, nearly all obscene, many involving close relatives and animal parts.

My guess is that it all comes my way via lads, showing their gratitude for everything I've done for them,

I guess this all emphasises why we have catcher account separate from our main baiting accounts? Your catcher account will always get full of spam, because the address will be out there everywhere, but that doesn't really matter because we redirect our lads to our main baiting address in our original reply. At least that's what I do...
