I saw this "Get Rich Quick" listing on the internet and couldn't resist.

I HAD TRIED MANY OTHER HOME-BASED BUSINESS' BEFORE, LIKE HERBALIFE, ECOQUEST, ONLINE SURVEY'S, ECT.....NEEDLESS TO SAY NONE PERFORMED IN THE WAY THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. BUT I FIGURED, I SHOULD GIVE THIS BUSINESS A SHOT AND I AM SOOOOO GLAD THAT I DID!!!! I WAS ABLE TO PUT A 50,000 DOWN PAYMENT ON MY HOUSE, ABLE TO PAY OFF 80% OF MY STUDENT LOANS, AND I'M SITTIN' PRETTY AT A REALLY YOUNG AGE, AND NOTHING BUT THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!

DON'T LET THIS WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY I HAVE FOR YOU PASS YOU BY!!!!!

What are you suggesting is a pyramid scheme?

Is it Amway, which like it or not, isn't a pyramid scheme. That was the decision of the United States Federal Trade Commission in 1979 which has never been overturned. At the end of June 2007 the FTC still carried a report of it's findings in the Amway case (93 F.T.C. 618), on it's website, in which the FTC explains what is a pyramid scheme and what is legitimate marketing.

Or are you suggesting that you are baiting someone who is operating a pyramid scheme?

You give no details of who you are baiting other than the name Lauren.

Based on DBGloryHole's findings that the email is related to Amway, my best guess is that the photo is of Lauren and her husband.

Amway, while having some very questionable business practices, is indeed a legal business. They tell you what is involved before you invest any more time than the 30 minutes it takes them to lay it out for you, they don't collect advance fees in return for nothing, and they don't kidnap you at your first meeting.

Sending you a faked photo would only serve to waste Lauren's time when she wanted to meet with you to give you your sales kit and send you off to find more Amway reps.

First of all, I was trying to identify the people in the photograph.
The guy looked familiar from a news story.

"Lauren" never offered to meet with me.
She gave me a list of detailed telephone instructions (see above).

You might want to put "Scammers photo' or something accross the photo's in your linky. One of those photo's is a real dying man.

In answer to your OP, no idea who the people in the photo are! Sorry. As long as they have no true information on you, by all means, find out who they are by baiting a little. If they turn out to be legit, drop immediately, if they turn out to be scammers, bait away and have fun!!
