I had a virus sent to me from a mail.com email address. Could that of been sent to me from the scammer called supplier?

It's most likely to be a lad using a virus riddled cyber cafe computer and accidentally sending you a virus. It's rare as hell for them to do it on purpose. Although in saying that, I have been getting a lot of e-cards recently that turn out to be .exe files, not from my lads though, I suspect some script kiddie.

Last time I checked viruses were called viruses because they infected machines without the need for a user to actively send them from A to B.

The subject was God Bless America

I wouldn't open an ecard even if it came from my mother on my birthday and she told me it was coming. The virus potential is Condition Red.
