Just wanted to introduce myself, and ask for some help.....

Don't know how this works, but my mother in law was scammed and
she is out most of her retirement, and savings....have all the info
on the some beach that did it...just want some help on how I can
make sure this is not happening to someone else....

there will be a $5.00 reward....that is right, 5 whole dolares....pesos,
simolas....rupees....500...pennies.....

let me know if you are interested, and I will post all the info....

We don't bait for money, or any other material reward.

The other problem is that there is a suggestion that there is a chance of recouping the money which is most unlikely I am afraid.

Any of us will bait him for free. My reward is job satisfaction as I am sure it is for all others here.

We hear of many similar happenings and it is our concern that brings us here. I regret very much that your mother-in-law has suffered in this way. Recouping money has been known, but it is very rare and no one here would accept a reward I am sure.

Not looking to recoop any money....just want him gone....I am sure
he has done this to others, and my concern is that he has others out
there....this guy is slick....made her fall in love in a week....and the
money orders started the next week....I want her to see this fool for
what he is.....

All help appreciated....let me know, and will send you all of the
particulars.....

Okay, he uses the name, Andrew Bergman.....he is suppose to be a
diamond miner in Africa....he has scammed her for money to buy all
kinds of rights, clearance rights, she met him on Match.com..because
she trusts Dr. Phil.....he has asked for money for flights to come home,
and he wants to meet her so bad.....sent her flowers, stuffed animals
on Valentines day.....He says he is in Ghana, but has told her he has
a house in University Park, Tx....his mother is in Germany....she
called one time, and had a go between....an interpreter...this one was
good.....she begged my mother in law to help her son....

The best one, was when he was suppose to come home, to meet her,
and then was stopped by customs in Europe because his papers were
not in order....then when he got back to Africa, he hurt his back, and
needed $4000.00 for a back operation....

This justs gets deeper and deeper....this guy is out there, and I am
sure that she is not the only one.....

Hope this is enough to start.....will send you more, id you need it...
give me the info you need and I will send it.....

Sorry to hear about your mother in law.

The real Andrew Bergman is a screenwriter/director. If you want us to bait the scammer using this name, we need an email address. As Doctor X suggested, post an email header. He'll get all the "love" he can handle. Twisted Evil

Information that you post here will only result in this person being baited.

If you really want to help your mother-in-law, you should take the emails and your mother-in-law to the police. They won't be able to get her money back, but they will be able to explain in no uncertain terms that she was scammed.

After that, I'd suggest that you and your mother-in-law visit scamvictimsunited.com, which is a support organization.

Best thing to do is send a mod a private message with all the info..Refrain from revealing anything more publicly..Kudos for coming forward..All the best for the future ^_^
