Their Emails are formated in Comic Sans which adds a certain gravitas to their gibberish. Wink

Banks are great for that one too. The lad goes on and on about how trustworthy the bank is and how well known they are, and yet the bank's operating off a yahoo email address.

One of my favourite questions to ask the lads is why the police force / CBN etc. is using a yahoo address. It either causes them to twig or brings out the most entertaining excuses in the world. Kind of like when you ask them "If this is 100% legitimate and risky-free, then why all the secrecy" and the like.

I've found that the best way to drag them out is to innocently question their last e-mail. Gets them off script faster, and makes them easier to slap when they invariably contradict themselves. As long as they think there's a dolla to chop, they'll stay on the line.

Of course, it can also make your bait boring as hell for a while.

I guess there's a bit of debate whether we should bring up their stupidity or not? Surely if we tell them how suspicious pretending to be a bank with a yahoo email address is then we're just educating them. I wonder if we're best off to ignore the idiots and then slap the ones who spoof real domains, something far more likely to trick victims.
