I like what you guys are doing, very nice work.

But I don't have the time (or even enough interest Wink

) to read through the whole "letters archive" on the main page, could you maybe point me to a couple baits that you think were the most successful/entertaining of all?

(btw. found my way here from a thread on the 2+2 forums where someone tells a story of a person who was successfully scammed by one of these guys)

I can recommend it, since I was hooked on 419eater and couldn't log-on at work. I read the book on my break.

Here's my suggestion. Just jump straight in. Get an IP addy that can be traced to your front door. Don't bother requesting a mentor or reading the stickies, they suck and are a waste of time. Oh, and go for a carving trophy after the second e-mail. How can you fail?

If you are really interested in baiting, do exactly the opposite of the above and you won't go far wrong.

To be honest, I didn't come here to learn how to bait scammers (although I have to admit that I'm intrigued by now, I despise these people), but just for the entertainment value of the stories, so doing that in a half-assed/stupid way is not really a concern. Wink
