We encourage members to report scammers bank details and financial transactions to [email protected] with very little chance of feedback.
The lack of immediate feedback is generally because it takes time for the relevant countries authorities to conduct investigations into the alleged fraudulent activity.

However, here is a bit of positive information from a thread on aa419:
This is a report from a website owner and contributor to aa419.

On June 18th, I was contacted by a novice eBay member that had wired $6500 USD to a bank in Croatia approximately 12 days earlier for an automobile - a 1957 Lincoln Premiere. Obviously, delivery never occurred.

I alerted Alan immediately with the banking information.

For whatever reasons the funds were not immediately withdrawn from the bank account. Today, I was contacted by the victim that his bank had contacted him and the funds had been returned to him.

They apparently had some notice that there was a scam going on, and had held the money in limbo, so my bank manager was able to get it back before the account was cleared. I honestly believe these funds were frozen because of Alan's efforts.

Immediately after I posted here about the funds being recovered, I forwarded Alan the same email message I received and gave him the link to this thread.

I post this information in the hope that it will contribute towards the understanding of just what Alan is doing in the background and how he is making an impact, silently, on the scammers we all despise.

When I send one in, I don�t need an answer I know all is done to.. Within the legal limits, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, it�s all I can do to help and I know it helps in the end.

If you all want to help go over to aa419.org and run muguito. It can run in the background while you are baiting and leech the bandwith of the fake banks that we and AA419 cannot get the host to pull down. In just the past couple of days I have leeched several gig of data. Either the lad hits his monthly limit or gets a hughe bandwidth bill. Good either way.

Alan was courtious and sent a an e-mail on a bank account that I had reported from a very experienced scammer.

Less talk and more walk in any fight is a good deal. Either way I have my account info into Alan and whether he can shut it down or not I do not care. It's the effort that counts as I know I'll eventually get one of those little S***'s accounts shut down some day.

, but it is inevitably going to be rare for us to hear the outcome. Law enforcement don't want to discuss ongoing investigations, so won't telll us and bank officials have confidentiality restrictions so can't tell us. I don't need to know, anyway. I know I have sent the info to the right person to get the job done, and I move on to the next thing. Smile

Alan rules! Not only has he killed fake and real accounts for me, he told me I could take the credit if I wanted.

I think we should build a shrine to him, complete with a bunch of flags and the infinity sign next to them.

Seriously, though. This is one of those rare times that we will get to hear a result from the "behind the scenes" work done by Alan. Most of what is done can't be posted, but its pretty obvious that the information we send is being acted on. Very Happy
