So, I go down to my cousins house after work tonight, and walk in to find her 17 year old daughter holding a microwave meal up to the ceiling fan.
I asked what she was doing, to which she replied "Just cooking this...it says you can do it this way on the packet"...
I looked at the packet, and it appears that she hadnt quite read the instructions for using a fan assisted oven properly..
I went into a fit of laughter, then mentioned I thought that evolution should have wiped stupidity like that out. She then asked what evolution was, so I explained it to her the usual way..monkey..man..and so on.
She then proved that she was a complete lunatic by asking..
"Well, if evolution is real, then what did my house evolve from?"
You couldnt make it up. Whats worrying is that she is studying to become a primary school teacher!  |

Since it's family, I hate to suggest it, but do you suppose some sort of substance abuse was involved?
If not - wow, that is just mind-blowingly dumb. Actually, it's mind-blowingly dumb either way, but at least there would be an explanation if there had been some illicit substance ingested just before you got there.

I think houses may even have evolved from caves actually. Or possibly tents.
I mean, the evolution thing I could have put down to being daft as a brush, but trying to cook her dinner with a fan?! Both logic and common sense took a real beating there...I mean, come on, its a FAN!! Silly girl!! |

I could see the logic  of her effort. If air is moved quickly enough it will indeed heat up (put your hand on the cylinder of an air compressor or ask a weather man... er... person). 
Now granted a ceiling fan won't move the air quickly enough to heat a frozen TV dinner, but maybe she was just trying to warm it up a little. Or cool it down a little. I'd give her an "E" for effort and a "C" for creativity.
As for where houses evolved from... TREES!!!
