Its early days for the risky free business transaction between myself, Mr R0nald McD0nald, and Dr Peter 5ege. After the usual 'getting to know you' jibber jabber, he sent me a form to complete. Having checked it out for viruses etc, I completed it and returned it (dont worry, it was a word doc and only needed the basics, took me 2 minutes. Golden Rule, never do more work than them Wink

)

Anyway, this turned up this morning.

Hmmm

He is there now with the bank manager, yet doesnt want me to indicate to anyone at the bank that I know who he is ? Shocked

And also, he knows im going by the name of Ronald. Yet in every email so far he has started with 'my dearest' or something. Rolling Eyes

He also has a computer outside the bank and apparently bank employees are allowed to leave in the middle of "urgent board meetings" Laughing

Anything the lad says to you must be right. Smile

You shouldn't be asking us. You should question the lad.
Question everything he tells you.
You are supposed to be wasting his time.
You won't be doing that by filling in his forms and asking us the questions that you should be asking him.

Waste HIS time. Not yours and ours. Laughing

^^^^ and if you don't like the answers the lad gives you be sure to ask the bank. "Dr 5ege mentioned you had a board meeting to discuss my application, I hope the appropriate security protocols were observed". I'll bet that coincidentally the emails from the lad and the bank have the same IP?

Tell him you appreciate secrecy and from now on wish to install a code-based means of communication into future emails so that you can be assured that both parties are who they say they are. Then figure out a code system that is as ridiculous as you think the lad will bear. Wink

It's Lad logic. He is trying to emphasise that he and the Bank are not the same person, but he has forgotten that he has already told you they are in a meeting together. So now you know.

To work that out his brain would need to be capable of holding two thoughts at once and have a memory span longer than a goldfish.

If the application to the Bank was for a loan, or some other such goodie. it's London to a brick (sorry, old Aussie racing jargon) that you will be required to pay a third party an insurance fee to indemnify the bank, before you can receive the loan. Any takers???

Chipmunk isn't a very bright "victim" and always gets confused and says the wrong thing to the wrong people.

In a real world, that would kill the Lad's scam, but in Lad World the fun just keeps on coming.

Always do exactly what they ask you not to.
