I usually straight-bait, so I have to crow about those little victories (i.e. no big safaris!). Now that I have actually started reading the mugus' responses to my e-mails before replying, I may have more of these to share:

Unfortunately, the journey is no where near long enough for a safari hat, but I feel good about it just the same. (EDIT - Actually, I now realize I may have a safari without proof - all of his e-mails to me come from 83.229.9.18, which resolves to Nigeria. If he really went to Accra, and did not (for example) have a confederate there, then I have a safari - but an unproven one).
By the way, he and I are scheduled to meet for dinner tonight at 6:00 in Accra. I will let you know how that goes.

When he complains next time, tell him to send you copies of any receipts. Offer him to pay him back the money.
Or just tell him You where there but he did not show up. Ask him to send you a proof that he was really there. |
