I remember him Dr. Who.
Mr. Wizard was great. I remember the sheet of paper being cut into a hole large enough to jump through. The cardboard spun and used to cut wood. The collapsing can. Wet cornstarch. But I was to young to receive the full benefit of his demonstrations and analysis. He did affect my high school chemistry teacher. We called him Mr. Wizard. I had twenty science "teachers" since and none were as good.
A few years ago I was asked to go into a elementary school classroom once a week and put on a Mr. Wizard science demo. The 20 minute deal was harder than my real job. |
