Hello I am a newby, and I am happy to be here. A "girl" in Sweden contacted me about buying a car I had on E-Bay. I gave her instructions on payment. Then we chatted a bit and she sent pics. Now she is in love with me and wants to deliver $ personally. Of course she needs half of the plane ticket amount of $1200. I told her to send the money for the car first, and we will see about a visit later.
Questions: Is it dangerous to string "her" along and waste her time for fun? She has my mailing address, e-mail, phone number.

If "she" has your real information cut bait.

If you feel like having fun, create a baiter account and contact vlad from there... but make sure not to reference your real handle...

Any check she sends you for that car will be fake. The check will be for more than the asking price. The balanced to be sent via Western Union to the "shipper". The bank may clear the check, you wire the money to her and once the fraud is discovered, you will be responsible for repayment. If you reside in the USA you may face charges for attempting to pass a fake check.

Requiring money for a ticket is very common amongst love scammers.

If she does have your real email addy, stop communicating, open a new account and bait her from their.

Hi Daleford,
The above advice is good, but I would consider one step further and bait someone else first, then go back and bait the crap out of her in a couple of weeks with a lot more knowledge.

Read through the posts here and get a feel for how it works and when you are ready try one of the email addresses provided in the posts, a quick search will provide plenty of options.

One last thing, After you have baited the crap out of her share your stories and the email address so the rest of us can bait the crap out of her as well
