Our insurance kicks in Friday. (Company was bought out). I called the hospital, as I've been unwell for 2 weeks. They think I have penumonia. (Damn, spelling of that word)! So, I might be gone for a bit. I'll be here tomorrow though. Then Friday, we'll see.

Do take care Joe. You only get two lungs! (Lungs is easier to spell than the "p" word  )
EDIT: Don you are correct, lungs does not work in the place of pneumonia. I didn't want to be the first to point out a m1ssp311ing in the OP.  I was also on pain meds and it sounded better in my head at the time! |

Good luck and wish you a speedy recovery.
Pneumonia can be a real bugger. It took several months to fully recover when I had it. The initial pathology results were interesting. Oh, it might be a Legionella infection but the results may be confounded by the serum presence of whatever antibiotics I was taking at the time.

Or the dry, unproductive cough coupled with little effective sleep?
Linctus APF (codeine monophosphate/hydrochloride/methylmorphine) or better still, ethylmorphine. Helps with sleep too. Is vicodin (dihydrocodeinone) useful in this context?
Perhaps Diacetylmorphine should be avoided |

Get well soon JT. My military boy had *lungs* when he was two. In four hours he went from tired to very sick and pale. Lucky for us we were having dinner at the house of a Dr and an ER nurse. The nurse was the person that suggested stopping at the ER on the way home. |
