Well, I'll be leaving for the airport soon to start my trip. I like to thank you all for your advice over the past few months, and even to the lot of you for offering drinks if I were to pass by! I'm excited and nervous. I'm going to try to come on board when I arrive at the hotel in London tomorrow afternoon (Local time) but in the meantime, all the best to you, keep on wasting the time of the lads, and don't stop fighting the good fight!
Cheers, and I'll be back on regularly (By which I mean lurk) in three weeks time. Toodles  |

Just arrived in London, took the tube all the way to Russell Square with a backpack and two luggage. I'm unbelievably pooped, and dare I tell you what happened to our flight for Amsterdam to London? The captain and his co-pilot go on board, the passengers are waiting to board, and then all of a sudden, the captain comes back, gets the loudspeaker in the airport and says that this flight will not take place due to the plane not being safe to fly . Anyhow, the captain requests another plane, and all of us, passengers, pilots, flight crew and security guards run to the next gate where a safer plane is waiting for us. The security guards get set up, quickly scan the flight crew and pilots, and then go through all of us passengers again! Unbelievable!
PS Klein, when you said to try to not let the woman sitting next to me puke? Well, let's just say she puked, but I was able to avoid it! Talk about coincidences! |
