I recently started playing my old Lucasarts games (which I have been playing since 1995) including Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. While not the best games ever made, they definitely have a nostalgia value to me and are very entertaining. Any other Lucasarts adventurer fans on here?

Grim. Fandango. Rules.

I dare all heathens to question my judgement.

Also, Sam and Max. Totally brilliant.

Ah, the good old days.

Broken Sword
Runaway
Monkey Island
Tunguska
Bone from Boneville

Point and click games are rare these days. My mum who's 80 loves em', has played just about every one ever made. She's playing the latest Runaway game at the moment. Very Happy

How come no one has mentioned Day of the Tentacle yet. I played that for days trying to finish it.

Monkey Island but especially the Indiana Jones series have kept me occupied for the better part of my first years at university. Only Civilization has ever managed to entertain me for such a long time.

Not a Lucasarts game, but it was made by some French company in the late 80's and I loved the game: Future Wars. It was a point and click game that was pretty much impossible to complete unless you had the walkthrough. To bad I don't have my MS Dos processor to play this game, I still have all the floppy disks for that game.

Grim Fandango is one of the best games ever. I play it once every year.

Might as well put it here, not LucasArts, or an adventure game, but I will plug Fallout to you all. Go. And buy it. Right now. You wil seriously not regret it. I have completed it over 1 million times, and I still play it.
Plus, it'll run on every computer, offers the most freedom in any game I've ever played, and its cheap.

Yeah, I'm a games whore. Sue me.

Ahh, Monkey Island. The hours I wasted on that game on my old 486! Wasn't keen on the rest of the series though.

You got me itching to see it again now. I might find an abandonware site and play it again!

All of them, try the Dig for a classic, or Loom for something a bit different.

And you cannot forget the Discworld series, currently using Rince Wind Twisted Evil on a Lad.

Yes, Loom in December of 1991. I had to go out and buy a 2x speed Cd Rom and a $250 sound card. It took me 10 hours to install the hardware and write the arguments for the drivers. You bet I finished the game.
