I'm totally new to all this scam baiting, but i have to say it seems awesome and i'd love to get involved!
i've looked at all the hints and tips pages, just wondered if anyone had any advice?
i've got one on the go at the moment, but it's very early days.
it's a classic 419 scam from what i can gather, i was planning on pretending my girlfriends family run an african charity and thats how i will get the money.... to see if he's willing to rip of his fellow countrymen to get his cash. Was going to see what i could get him to do!

p.s when i see a safari hat at the bottom of a post, does that mean you actually made your scammer travel that many miles for nothing??? surely not!

Welcome. Have you read the Stickies too? They are there for a reason and contain a lot of important and useful information you will need if you want to bait safely and successfully. Also read as many ongoing and completed baits as possible to get a 'feel' for it. I know it's tempting to get stuck in but you really do need to acquire the basic knowledge first or you will run your bait into the ditch. Any time you spend now reading around the forum and getting up to speed will pay off later I promise. Good luck!

Remember, to a find a lad that is stupid enough to go on safari or take funny photos, you will probably have to start with more than one. It's usually a numbers game, for every lad that is gullible enough to go for such requests, there are several who will drop you. So grab a bunch of lads and develop your own 'script'. By the time you've moved on to the stage where you are starting to ask for stuff you should be down to a manageable number of idiots.
